Responding to the challenge of the New Normal, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. proceeds with its 34th AACCUP National Convention held virtually on March 10-12.
Dr. Dexter R. Buted, University President and Treasurer of AACCUP presides the 6th Session in the 3-day National Convention. After Dr. Buted introduced the speaker for the afternoon session regarding the paradigm shift in accreditation, he also facilitated the open forum.
It is also noteworthy that Pangasinan State University received various recognitions at the said national conference. Among the citations were: Top 7 among the 10 Most Improved Internal Quality Assurance Unit (2019); Top 5 among the Highest number of Level II Accredited Programs (2020); and Bayambang and Lingayen Campuses – Level II Institutionally Accredited Programs (2019). In addition, Dr. Fe S. Soriano was cited at the Top 1 Performing Accreditor – Retiree Category.
The purpose of the 34th AACCUP National Conference with the theme, “Paradigm Shift in Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Responding to the Challenges of the New Normal” is for the participants to appreciate the new perspectives of quality assurance in the new normal.
In addition, it enables them to respond to the challenges of quality assurance, set new directions in accreditation and transform to flexible strategies in the sustainability of quality assurance./jjdz
