Dean, College of Teacher Education

It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warm welcome to everyone
in this meaningful milestone of our collective journey toward Level III accreditation for the
Bachelor of Elementary Education program. This pursuit goes beyond compliance—it reflects our
unwavering commitment to quality and excellence in teacher education.

For many years, our college has remained steadfast in nurturing future educators who are not only
proficient in content and pedagogy but are also compassionate leaders and community builders.
As Fullan and Scott (2014) emphasize, “21st century education must not only prepare students to
learn but also empower them to lead and innovate in a rapidly changing world.” Guided by this
vision, the pursuit of Level III accreditation challenges us to continually raise the standards in
instruction, research, extension, and production, ensuring that our graduates are globally
competitive while remaining responsive to the needs of the Filipino learner.

This endeavor is made possible through the synergy of our dedicated faculty, supportive
administration, diligent staff, industrious students, and valued stakeholders. Their collective effort
embodies our shared vision of shaping teachers who serve as catalysts for meaningful
transformation in schools and communities.

As we undergo this accreditation process, we do so with confidence and humility—confidence in
the strong foundation of quality, relevance, and integrity that we have built, and humility to
welcome opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
Together, let us remain steadfast in our mission of empowering future educators, guided by the
values of excellence, service, and innovation. Truly, Level III accreditation is not an end, but a
pathway in sustaining a culture of quality that will inspire generations of learners and educators
alike.
